The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Asif Ali Bhatti<\/strong>, Chairman, CEO and Chief Editor, who outlined the vision behind PUFF and World Watch Alert. He emphasized the need for credible and inclusive spaces that promote informed discourse, cross-border dialogue, and responsible communication in an era increasingly challenged by misinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was honored by an address from the Chief Guest, Muhammad Aftab Chaudhary, Consul General of Pakistan in Houston<\/strong>, who underscored the vital role of community engagement and sustained dialogue in further strengthening Pak\u2013US relations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reaffirming his full support for the mission of the Pak\u2013US Friends Forum (PUFF)<\/strong>, he emphasized that he would continue his efforts to enhance cooperation and understanding between communities and governments in both countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who addressed or conveyed support included Dr. Baig<\/strong> (Pakistani scientist at UCSD and Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University), Dr. Asaf Qadeer<\/strong> (renowned physician-surgeon and public intellectual, graduate of King Edward Medical College), Prof. Jahangir Khattak<\/strong> (Director Communications, City University New York), Afzal Butt<\/strong> (Senior Journalist and President, PFUJ), Mujeeb Kazi<\/strong> (philanthropist and Kashmir cause advocate), and Iftikhar Sherazi<\/strong> (senior broadcaster, anchor, and writer, Dawn TV Islamabad).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
