The redesigned notes will feature <strong>advanced security threads<\/strong>, modern printing technology, and updated visual elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cabinet was briefed that the new designs will reflect <strong>Pakistan\u2019s regional and geographical diversity<\/strong>, highlight <strong>historical landmarks<\/strong>, and showcase <strong>women\u2019s contributions to national development<\/strong>. Social themes such as <strong>climate change<\/strong> will also be incorporated into the designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>cabinet committee<\/strong> has been formed to further deliberate on the final designs of the new currency notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to <em>Geo News<\/em>, <strong>State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Deputy Governor Saleemullah<\/strong> said the new notes are expected to be issued between <strong>November and December 2026<\/strong>, adding that formal cabinet approval is likely in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the cabinet also directed that the <strong>draft Private Hajj Policy 2027\u20132030<\/strong> be referred to the Hajj Policy Committee for further review, particularly regarding the registration and scrutiny of private Hajj operators through third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The federal cabinet additionally endorsed decisions taken by the <strong>Cabinet Committee on Energy<\/strong> and approved outcomes of the <strong>Economic Coordination Committee (ECC)<\/strong> meeting held last month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The federal government has decided to introduce new currency notes with upgraded security features and modern security threads, aiming to strengthen anti-counterfeiting measures.
