WASHINGTON: A wave of strong reactions has emerged from senior Democratic leaders in the United States following controversial statements attributed to Donald Trump, with many lawmakers warning that his rhetoric could lead to catastrophic global consequences and even war crimes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the House Democratic leadership issued a sharply worded statement condemning what they described as a \u201cthreat to kill a whole civilization,\u201d arguing that such language is not only reckless but dangerous on a global scale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
