WASHINGTON: Donald Trump has claimed that negotiations with Iran are underway through \u201cthe right people,\u201d expressing optimism about a possible breakthrough in the near future.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to international media reports, the US president said Washington is in contact with key Iranian figures via multiple channels and that progress toward a potential agreement could emerge soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump asserted that Iran appears interested in moving toward a deal under current circumstances. However, he did not disclose detailed specifics about the nature or scope of the ongoing contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He named senior aides involved in the process, including Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, Marco Rubio, and JD Vance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US president further claimed that recent American military actions have significantly weakened Iran\u2019s naval, leadership, and defence capabilities, altering the regional balance of power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
