GENEVA: Iran has said it will continue to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity until what it described as \u201caggression\u201d by the United States and Israel comes to a complete halt, its envoy told a meeting at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the session, Iran\u2019s Deputy Permanent Representative Reza Dehqani said Tehran has no hostile intentions toward neighbouring countries but warned that states allowing their territory to be used for attacks against Iran would be held accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that ongoing military operations against Iran had entered their fifth week, alleging that civilian areas and non-military installations were being targeted, resulting in casualties among civilians, including women and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dehqani reiterated that the use of force and aggression should have no place in international relations, stressing that no country has the right to override established international laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement comes amid continued tensions in the region, with diplomatic efforts underway to prevent further escalation of the conflict.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
