Houston: Chief Editor of World Watch Alert, Asif Ali Bhatti, stated that Iran does not appear intimidated despite the United States\u2019 threat to destroy all electricity and oil facilities if Iran fails to open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the German broadcaster Voice of Germany on the program “World Today,” Bhatti said that Gulf and other regional countries may successfully find a middle ground amid escalating tensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he added that according to key U.S. defense and diplomatic circles, Israel does not appear willing to engage in negotiations or reconciliation with Iran under any circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhatti also highlighted that during discussions between U.S. President Donald Trump and the Prime Minister of Japan, references to Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not merely symbolic but interpreted as a serious warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on Gulf countries, he noted that they are under severe pressure, with their economies suffering irreparable losses and tourism dropping to zero. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the United States is experiencing high inflation, placing the Trump administration under immense stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAcross the United States, cities are witnessing massive protests against war, and the public is demanding an end to this unnecessary conflict,\u201d Bhatti said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that Pakistan has so far demonstrated effective diplomatic and defense strategy amid ongoing tensions with Iran. However, he warned that direct confrontation between Saudi Arabia and Iran under U.S. pressure could create challenges for Pakistan, impacting its regional security and political strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhatti concluded that cautious diplomatic measures and a balanced approach are now critical in the region to minimize the risks of potential conflict between Iran and the United States and to safeguard Pakistan\u2019s regional security and economic interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
