ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Norway\u2019s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide on Friday and discussed matters of mutual interest, including the evolving situation in the Middle East.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the call, both leaders expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East and their potential consequences for the region and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They stressed the need for de-escalation, respect for international law, and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the ongoing crises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two ministers also discussed the situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide conveyed condolences over the loss of lives in the recent terrorist attack at a mosque in Islamabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both leaders strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirmed the need for international cooperation to combat the threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
