ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Media reports claim that despite maintaining friendly relations with Iran, India is increasingly being viewed as aligning with Israel amid the ongoing regional tensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, a British publication, Middle East Eye, has raised questions regarding India\u2019s foreign policy approach in the context of the Iran-Israel conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report questioned why Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel only two days before the outbreak of hostilities involving Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also noted that India took several days to respond to the reported killing of Iran\u2019s supreme leader, and that the Indian leadership has yet to issue a detailed condolence message to the Iranian people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The publication further referred to an incident involving an Iranian naval vessel present in India that was reportedly targeted during the escalation, describing the development as an uncomfortable situation for India\u2019s defence diplomacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Analysts cited in the report said that tensions between India and Iran have surfaced previously as well, pointing to delays and uncertainty surrounding India\u2019s role in the development of the Chabahar Port in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
