Doha: A group of regional states along with the United States has issued a joint statement strongly condemning Iran\u2019s recent missile and drone attacks across the Middle East, calling them a dangerous and destabilizing escalation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the statement released from Doha, the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America denounced what they described as \u201cindiscriminate and reckless\u201d strikes carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against sovereign territories in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The joint declaration accused Iran of targeting multiple countries, including Bahrain, Iraq \u2014 including the Iraqi Kurdistan Region \u2014 Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The signatories said the strikes endangered civilian populations and damaged civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement described Iran\u2019s actions as a violation of the sovereignty of multiple states and warned that such operations threaten regional stability at a critical time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The targeting of civilians and countries not directly engaged in hostilities was labeled as reckless and destabilizing behavior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The countries emphasized that attacks against non-combatant populations and neutral states risk widening the conflict across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the signatories were Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The governments said they stand united in defense of their citizens, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, reaffirming their right to self-defense in response to the attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also expressed commitment to maintaining regional security and praised coordinated air and missile defense cooperation, stating that joint defensive measures had prevented far greater casualties and destruction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
