DOHA\/RIYADH\/ABU DHABI:<\/strong> Iran has reportedly targeted 14 United States military bases located in several Gulf countries, claiming heavy casualties among American personnel, as regional tensions continue to escalate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to international media reports, the bases targeted by Iranian missiles and drones are situated in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The governments of these countries strongly condemned the attacks and reaffirmed their resolve to safeguard national sovereignty and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuwait\u2019s Ministry of Defence stated that Iran targeted Ali Al-Salem Air Base, resulting in injuries to three military personnel. The injured were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities said a section of the facility sustained damage; however, operational readiness and combat capability remained unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, air defence systems intercepted incoming Iranian missiles mid-air. However, falling debris reportedly resulted in the death of a Pakistani national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saudi Arabia confirmed that Iranian missiles were launched towards Riyadh and the country\u2019s eastern region. Saudi officials said air defence systems successfully intercepted the projectiles and no major casualties were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar also condemned the attacks and temporarily closed its airspace. Several flights from Hamad International Airport were suspended as a precautionary measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahrain activated warning sirens to advise residents to remain alert and seek shelter. Reports indicated that Iran attempted to target the US Navy\u2019s Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, though no casualties or material damage were immediately reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Jordan and Syria claimed to have intercepted Iranian drones within their airspace. Both countries warned that any action threatening national security would be met with a firm response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
