TEHRAN: Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has called on Pakistan and Afghanistan to exercise restraint and resolve their differences through dialogue amid rising border tensions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Araqchi made the remarks in a message posted on his X account, emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the holy month of Ramadan, the month of restraint and strengthening solidarity in the Islamic world, it is appropriate for Afghanistan and Pakistan to manage and resolve existing differences within the framework of good neighborliness and through dialogue,\u201d the Iranian foreign minister stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that both neighboring Muslim countries should prioritize diplomatic engagement and mutual understanding to prevent further escalation and maintain regional stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Araqchi also reaffirmed Tehran\u2019s readiness to facilitate dialogue between the two sides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said Iran stands prepared to provide any assistance necessary to strengthen understanding, cooperation, and constructive engagement between Islamabad and Kabul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement comes at a time of heightened tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, prompting diplomatic concern across the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
