DOHA:<\/strong> A report by Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera has claimed that the current government in India is pursuing policies influenced by Israel\u2019s security and administrative model, with implications particularly for Muslims and the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report said India and Israel share what it described as a common ideological vision in which minorities are viewed through a security and territorial lens. According to the report, circles associated with the Hindutva ideology have drawn inspiration from Israeli governance approaches, prioritizing surveillance and stringent security measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It further noted that security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir were tightened after 2019, including the establishment of checkpoints, raids and communications restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also referred to the so-called \u201cbulldozer justice\u201d policy, under which homes and shops were allegedly demolished, a practice critics have termed extrajudicial. It added that questions were being raised over the use of advanced technologies to monitor dissenting voices, while human rights organizations have expressed concern over the situation in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
