ISLAMABAD (APP):<\/strong> The Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan (TTAP) has expressed serious concern over the health condition of former prime minister Imran Khan and placed several demands before the government, urging immediate and transparent medical access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement issued in Islamabad, the alliance called for unrestricted access for Khan to his personal physicians to ensure timely and transparent medical care. It demanded that Dr Asim and Dr Faisal be allowed to conduct a private examination without delay and that all medical reports and test results be promptly shared with the public and the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alliance stressed that the personal doctors must be allowed to provide independent medical opinions without any pressure, adding that the examination should take place free from the influence of any government medical board to restore confidence in the treatment process. It also called for regular follow-up medical assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement said the government should be bound to provide a written explanation in case of any obstruction or delay in treatment. TTAP maintained that Khan\u2019s health was not a political issue but a humanitarian and constitutional responsibility that could not be ignored, warning that symbolic measures or delays would not resolve the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TTAP leaders Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Raja Nasir Abbas jointly stated that providing proper and impartial medical facilities to any prisoner, particularly a former prime minister, was the constitutional duty of the state and any deviation would be against the law and human values.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
